Society information

In line with the trans-disciplinary mission of Cities & Health, the journal does not have a single societal affiliation. Instead the journal seeks to bring together, in this relatively new and rapidly emerging field, many actors and networks spread across research and practice.

As such the journal welcomes affiliations with multiple network partners. We are pleased to partner with two internationally renowned 'global knowledge partners' and four specialist 'network partners':

Our Global Knowledge Partners

The International Society for Urban Health (ISUH)

The International Society for Urban Health is the pioneer global organization bringing together experts from across academia, government, NGOs and business to improve the health of cities. The International Society for Urban Health was founded in 2002 at The New York Academy of Medicine as an organization primarily concerned with building the field of urban health through its annual scientific meeting, the International Conference of Urban Health. As the only non-governmental global conference of its kind, this conference advances understanding and action to improve urban health by addressing its broad determinants. It is a critical platform for sharing lessons, both successes and problems, to promote learning and progress. https://www.isuh.org/
