Association information

The AECA is an association established in 1979 whose main aim is to link together the Spanish community of accounting and business scholars and researchers and professional practitioners to provide a platform for the wider dissemination of research and professional skills and to foster and improve research and practice in the field of business.

The Association meets its objectives in the following ways:

-Annual Congress/Meeting
-Specific academic workshops and seminars
-Professional seminars and courses
-Commissions and working groups (accounting principles, management accounting, organization, valuation and corporate finance, accounting history, accounting and new technologies, public accounting, social responsibility, cooperatives, non-profit organizations accounting and tourism) to issue documents and studies
-Different grants and prizes (including a full professorship and research projects among others)
-Professional publications and newsletters
