Founded in 1914, The Japanese Forest Society is the sole organization in Japan comprehensively representing both forests and forestry. Its main objective is to advance all aspects of forest sciences and services, which help maintain the environment and promote the sustainable availability of forest products, ultimately leading to the improvement of the quality of life and culture for all humankind.
