ARTIST'S STATEMENT
Exploring the theme of connection in my context as a trainee Art Therapist in a learning group, inks were blown with a hand rolled staw and grew into reaching paws in an inky jungle!
In all these beginnings there's a lot to connect with, people, content, placement clients and contexts, at times it can feel overwhelming! In the process of making this I found myself out of breath and exhausted blowing ink, equally rewarded by the growing connections forming through the process of being within the group and the reminder to BREATHE.
