Peer Review Policy: All submitted manuscripts are subjects to an initial appraisal by a panel of Executive Editors, and if found suitable for further consideration, are assigned to Associate Editors who arrange peer review by independent, anonymous expert referees. All peer review is single anonymized and submission is online via Editorial Manager.

Mycologia and Taylor and Francis encourage the submission of unpublished manuscripts to bioRxiv, following the policies and procedures of administrators of that site. Authors are responsible for all of their own interaction with this site, including the submission of their manuscripts and associated meta-data and ensuring that this archiving is consistent with the policies of their own employers. We discourage authors of articles that include formal nomenclatural acts from pre-publishing their data before the official publication of the formal version of record, i.e. the validating publication.
